Libraries Are For Making

This past week, we had a lot of energy and fun in the Upper School Library as we took part in YALSA's Teen Tech Week... 'Libraries are for Making.'  Much of the week was was led by one of our seniors, Constanza, as making and tinkering was part of her senior project.  We started the week off with jewelry, craft making and the bookmark challenge. Other activities included fun with Makey Makeys, arduino blinky lights, a mystery building challenge and Minecraft exploration.  A group of HS students shared the Minecraft worlds that they built during WWW with many MS students eager to learn more about the popular and creative game.  All the activities focused on inquiry and student driven curiosity. Thanks to Mr. Nelson and Ms. Jennie for their support during this week.  Over 60 MS students participated!
